For children who have completed Pre-K or Kindergarten
Theatre begins with telling stories. What are your
favorite children’s books or stories? Maybe you like princesses or heroes. Wouldn’t it be a delight to step inside their stories and bring them to life? We will use a children’s story or theme as the center of our class work. Music, movement, acting, and creative play will make this literary experience one that will be a unique beginning to the journey of theatre!

Take a journey through a story. Add music, movement,
costumes and familiar characters and we have this
creative theatre class for our young stars. Feel the power of the imagination, learn the wonder of working with a team, develop beginning theatre skills.

Are you ready to develop a character, learn lines, and perform a musical story play? Students in this class work as an ensemble to create, rehearse, and present a short musical play of increased difficulty. Each session we will explore new material and present a showcase at the end of session. Material considered will be from popular Broadway shows. Come join the fun of putting on a show!

Rock Around The Block
For ages 8-14
Gracie Stanley has gotten herself into the ultra-sticky jam of a lifetime! She has pledged to deliver her distant cousin, rock star Ziggy Springer, for the high school Hippity Hop. To her dismay, Ziggy’s manager doesn’t want his client performing anywhere without pay. It’s now up to Gracie and her friends to produce a double... or never show their faces in Louise’s Luncheonette again! They plot to have a singing soda jerk perform instead. If it’s dark, maybe no one will be able to tell that it’s really not Ziggy! With the scornful Muffin Mansfield keeping her eyes on Gracie’s every move, it won’t be easy to pull this one off. Loaded with the feel of the era and a fantastic score, you’ll see why we call them the Nifty Fifties! .

Based on the Hans Christian Andersen Story and the Disney Film produced by Howard Ashman & John Musker and written & directed by John Musker and Ron Clements
In a magical kingdom fathoms below, the beautiful young mermaid Ariel longs to leave her ocean home to live in the world above. But first, she'll have to defy her father King Triton, make a deal with the evil sea witch Ursula, and convince Prince Eric that she’s the girl with the enchanting voice.

Les Misérables

This production of this blockbuster musical will be performed by our teens using the set and props used by our adult actors in the production of Les Misérables which closes July 28.
